A tropical landscape built in layered olive and sage, palms and fan fronds worked against a pale cream sky with a lagoon and low hills behind. The restrained palette and the density of the foliage put it closer to a nineteenth-century decorative panel than to a poster. Calm, deep and easy to live with.
